Alty practices a unique approach to massage therapy cultivated through eclectic spiritual practice, structured orthodox education, and a lifetime of study with a breadth of teachers. Ranging from lineal students of the Dalai Lama to Energy Workers of the Unnamed Path to Orthodox Massage Therapists and Chiropractors with more than four decades under their belt Alty has had the privilege of studying and learning with some of the best. Their formal education in massage therapy started with his graduation from the 800 Hour program in 2023 and has continued with nearly two years of working in a eastern medical oriented multidisciplinary wellness clinic. Alty’s style of massage focuses more on providing space and the necessary energy to help the body process and align with its own naturally occuring cycles, rhythms, and frequencies then the majority of manual manipulation styles. When not working their magic, they can be found slinging tarot cards, planning queer summer camps, coming up with yet another hare-brained scheme to ‘get weirder’, enjoying a cup of tea, a good book, or roaming the city with his pack looking for adventure.
