Jill Kozhevnikov, LMT, PTA, CLT Hello, I began my career with desire to help people live their best lives: regain function, be active and independent. I have practiced as a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 20 years, in 2021 I became a Licensed Massage Therapist and in 2023 I became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. I approach each massage session with the whole person in mind addressing muscle, soft tissue, joint, fascia and lymphatic systems and the key ingredient is you: your concerns, your past medical history and your in the moment feedback; with taking all of this into consideration then a meaningful and productive session can be done. Credentials: - Lasell College, Physical Therapist Assistant degree and Exercise Physiology degree - Massage Therapy Diploma from North Eastern Whole Health Institute -Reiki Practioner, Level II - Certified Lymphedema Therapist , Academy of Lymphatic Studies , Vodder technique, Manual Lymphatic Decongestive Therapy. - Certified in Advanced MLD, Management of Post Plastic Surgery, Academy of Lymphatic Studies.
Massage
I use an integrated approach to massage that incorporates multiple styles and techniques. The session is customized to meet your needs, utilizing: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Neuromuscular Techniques as well as Myofascial Scraping, Hot Stones, and Cupping available upon request at no added charge. Whether the focus is area / injury-specific, full body relaxation or a mix of both; you decide.
Lymphatic Drainage
Want to learn how you can help your lymphatic system? Dry brushing is great way to stimulate superficial lymph, The rhythmic tactile stimulation can also activate the parasympathetic nervous system inducing relaxation. This step by step tutorial will cover priming the major lymph nodes (the big 6) and dry brushing the pathways that drain to them. Please wear loose fitting clothing, that you can access your arms and legs. Bring your own dry brush or they are available for purchase here.
