Valerie Carroll, LMT, brings a strong clinical perspective and an extensive background in healthcare to Live Oak Health. Her healthcare background gives her a solid foundation in anatomy, client assessment, and adapting treatment to each person’s needs. Valerie is also formally trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, with a focus on Stage 0–Stage 1 lymphedema. Stage 0 refers to early or subclinical lymphedema, where lymphatic function may be impaired before visible swelling develops. Stage 1 is the earliest stage in which swelling is typically noticeable and may still reduce with elevation.
