Vanna has an undeniable love of sport and physical activity. As a competitive rhythmic gymnast, Vanna understands the importance of active and ongoing rehabilitation through physiotherapy and appropriate exercise prescription. Vanna received her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Waterloo, studying Kinesiology with further studies of Human Nutrition and Psychology. She continued her professional studies at the University of Toronto, receiving her Master of Science in Physical Therapy to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a Physiotherapist. Vanna’s treatment integrates a hands-on or manual therapy approach with very specific functional exercise prescription tailored to your individual needs. Vanna advocates for the physical and mental well-being of her patients implementing a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to treat patients at various stages of their recovery process. Vanna keeps current with best practice guidelines and continued education to provide patients with the most optimal care. Vanna loves to keep active and enjoys cycling, tennis, yoga, running, weight lighting, and team sports such as hockey, volleyball, and basketball.
This initial 60 minute appointment will allow your therapist to fully assess your condition and establish a treatment plan to help you achieve your treatment goals. This appointment will also include the start of your treatment with your therapist.
