Hello, I'm Heather Marquez owner of Athens Therapeutic Massage. I have been a licensed massage therapist in the great state of Texas since January 2018. In July of 2019, I decided that I was ready to open my own massage business in my hometown of Athens Texas. I have always loved to help others and knew I wanted to enter a profession where I could help people everyday. That's when I stumbled upon massage therapy! After my first day at Stone School of Massage, I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! I love being able to help people find pain relief and feel more relaxed. After finishing school, I built on to my education and take more courses in specific massage modalities including, hot stone, cupping, and ashiatsu! I use all of these modalities every week depending on what my clients want and need. When I am not at the office, I enjoy being with my family.
