Since moving from Japan to Canada in 2008, Miki has dedicated her career to helping others achieve balance and well-being. Beginning as a yoga instructor, she witnessed how mindful movement, breath, and awareness could bring peace to the body and mind. Yet, seeing students struggle with chronic pain, injury, and emotional stress inspired a deeper pursuit of healing beyond yoga. This journey led Miki to study massage therapy, advanced modalities, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine, integrating techniques that address both the physical and emotional aspects of health. Over time, she incorporated Acutonic vibrational therapy—sound-based treatment on acupuncture points—to enhance the body’s natural healing and promote long-lasting results. By approaching wellness holistically, Miki supports the interconnected balance of body, mind, and spirit. Healing, Miki believes, unfolds like the rhythm of nature—gradually, with patience, awareness, and compassion. Whether facing acute or chronic pain, emotional overwhelm, or seeking deeper balance, she is honored to walk alongside each individual, helping the body remember how to restore harmony and wholeness from within.
An initial assessment is required for all new clients seeking Acupuncture treatment. The first appointment includes a comprehensive consultation to discuss your overall health and life journey. This conversation helps gather important information to customize your treatment plan. Depending on your needs, the treatment may involve a physical assessment, acupuncture, massage, cupping, or moxibustion. The approach will be tailored to align with your goals, expectations, and the most suitable course of action for your well-being.
