My healthcare career began in 1987 in China, where I worked in preventive medicine with the local county Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for over 20 years. Through progressively increasing responsibilities, I advanced to the role of Office Manager, gaining extensive experience in public health administration, disease prevention, and community health services. After relocating to the United States, I earned CNA I and CNA II certifications in 2013 and worked for 10 years in nursing homes and home care settings in the Hickory, North Carolina area. During this time, I provided compassionate, hands-on care to individuals with diverse health needs, developing strong skills in patient support, daily care assistance, and effective communication. In 2024, I graduated from the Maiden School of Massage & Bodywork Therapy and obtained my North Carolina Massage & Bodywork Therapy License in May 2025. Today, I combine decades of healthcare experience with therapeutic massage techniques to help clients relieve pain, recover from stress and injury, and improve overall well-being. My goal is to provide safe, personalized, and professional care that supports both physical health and relaxation.
Swedish massage is a popular, gentle, full-body technique using light-to-medium pressure reach superficial soft tissue designed for relaxation and improved circulation. It utilizes long, gliding strokes (effleurage), kneading, tapping, and joint movement, typically with oils to reduce friction. It boosts overall wellness by reducing stress, calming the mind, decreasing anxiety, and ease muscle tension.
