Brooke graduated with honours from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, following her post-secondary education of a Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. During her time in both academic programs, she worked with patients of all ages and varying degrees of injuries or ailments, such as acute and chronic orthopaedic issues, post-surgery rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, stress, headaches, whiplash, and many other systemic conditions. Brooke has a strong passion for learning and understanding how the body works in order to provide a safe and effective treatment plan for her patients. Growing up playing competitive sports, she experienced plenty of her own injuries and found relief from a variety of treatment modalities. It was her love for exercise and movement that solidified her decision in becoming an RMT. She still remains active by playing slow pitch and golf in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and running and hiking all year round. Brooke utilizes many different techniques in each treatment, with emphasis on general swedish, deep tissue, trigger point release, stretching, and joint mobilizations. She has taken extra courses in Hot Stone, TMJD, and scar work.
