Growing up as a competitive gymnast sparked an early interest in movement, performance, and injury recovery. After gymnastics, I found my way into the climbing and running communities and quickly fell in love with the challenge and connection these sports offer. Like many athletes, my path has included injuries along the way, including a significant shoulder injury that required surgery and a long rehabilitation process. Experiencing that recovery firsthand shaped how I approach physiotherapy today and deepened my appreciation for how injuries can affect both performance and overall well-being. Over time, I developed a particular interest in hypermobility and connective tissue conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Through both clinical work and personal experience, I’ve come to appreciate the complex relationship between joint structure, injury risk, nervous system sensitivity, training load, and recovery. I enjoy helping patients better understand their bodies while building strength and developing sustainable ways to stay active. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me climbing, running, or exploring coffee shops around the city.

You'll want to book one of these if you are looking to have a physiotherapist provide an assessment that focuses on running related injury prevention, running performance or someone who is new to running. Please note that this assessment is specific to running. Should you require an assessment for other injuries, please book the regular Initial - Physiotherapy Assessment. If this injury is part of an ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim, please go back and book an ICBC or WSBC assessment.
