As a mom of three kids ages 4 and under, I understand the challenges of caring for our own bodies while supporting the development of our little ones. This is why I am passionate about both pelvic health and pediatric physiotherapy. I would be honoured to support you through some of the physical changes that come with pregnancy, delivery, and the post-partum period. Together we will find how physiotherapy can fit into your life so you can minimize discomfort during pregnancy, prep for delivery, and maintain or return to the activities you love to do – and even become stronger than before pregnancy (no matter how long ago you were pregnant!). Once your little one arrives, they may need some extra support meeting motor milestones and addressing other physical concerns such as torticollis, brachial plexus injuries, and plagiocephaly. I love working with families to support their children in a fun, playful and engaging manner. I am also able to address pelvic health concerns in children including incontinence, bedwetting, and constipation. I completed my Physiotherapy training at Western University with additional training in Pelvic Health and Pediatric Physiotherapy. I have also completed a Master’s degree in Neuroscience and a PhD in Physical Therapy at Western University which help me understand the important role the nervous system plays in both pelvic health and child motor development.
