Kira graduated from Douglas College with an Associate’s degree in Sport Science as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching and Kinesiology. Upon graduation she became a member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. She has always been very passionate about the study of movement and the body as well as finding new ways to get stronger for injury prevention. Kira has an extensive sporting background having played volleyball, basketball as well as college level softball. She now coaches young athletes in her spare time and enjoys helping them improve their physical literacy and technical skills. Through her sport experience she has witnessed and endured many different injuries and understands what it takes to go through the rehabilitation process. At Nova Active Rehab she helps our patients achieve their rehab goals through movement and exercise.
