Dr. Steven Murray is an evidence- based, active-care centred practitioner from the Greater Toronto Area. After completed his Bachelor of Science degree in physiology from McGill University, Steven went on to complete a Master of Science degree in exercise physiology at McGill. He then attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic college where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and graduated summa cum laude. Steven is an avid runner and athlete, participating in various activities within the community including running groups, competing in road races, golf, volleyball and ice hockey. He was also previously a member of the McGill Track and Field team and has won medals at the provincial and national level. Through his experience as an elite athlete and his academic background, Steven has an in-depth knowledge of sport-related biomechanics and training/ rehabilitation principles. Dr. Murray emphasises the importance of treating each patient individually and tailoring his treatment plan to address their specific needs. Through a combination of manual therapy and rehabilitation principles, he is committed to not only get your current complaint resolved, but also provide you with the knowledge and skills to help prevent it from coming back in the future. Dr. Murray also uses his research background to integrate the most recent and cutting-edge treatment principles into your plan of management to ensure that you are receiving the best possible care. Treatments that are offered include adjustments of the spine and extremities, soft tissue therapy, running analysis, ergonomic assessment, pre- and post- surgical rehabilitation, taping, laser therapy, shockwave therapy and nutrition counseling.
