Born and raised in Toronto, my journey toward becoming a Kinesiologist has been one of healing, self-discovery, and transformation. Having lived through periods of trauma, I experienced firsthand how disconnection from the body can manifest through coping mechanisms such as restrictive eating, over-exercising, and cycles of anxiety and depression. What began as survival strategies ultimately deepened my understanding of how profoundly the mind and body are intertwined. Through my personal exploration of embodiment, I learned that peace and self-connection are not achieved through control or rigidity, but through acceptance, compassion, and fluidity. This realization has shaped the foundation of my life’s work: guiding others to feel at home in their bodies and cultivate a balanced state of mind, where inner stability is not dependent on external circumstances. I believe that the way we hold and move our bodies is a reflection of our inner state. Rigidity in thought often reveals itself in tension and restriction, while fluidity of mind expresses as grace and ease in movement. Our physical form is a living signature — a creative act of self-expression in each moment. I graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2014 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Kinesiology. With roots in my background as a triathlete, I developed a deep interest in running mechanics and now take a holistic, play-centered approach to helping people rediscover rhythm and flow in their movement. My professional development has been enriched through continued training under Dr. Craig Liebenson of First Principles of Movement, as well as the influence of Somatic Experiencing principles. My collaborations and community involvement with Lawrence Van Lingen have also been central to the evolution of my work. Travel has played an important role in shaping my practice. Immersive studies in Yoga at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, India, and certification in Holistic Nutrition from The Holistic Performance Nutrition Institute in New Zealand have further expanded my integrative approach to health and human performance. I approach every client relationship as a collaborative journey of self-discovery — recognizing each individual as the true expert of their own body. My role is to support, guide, and co-pilot as clients learn to attune, adapt, and empower themselves through movement and awareness.
