Emily (Jun) Zhao received her Doctor’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2002 from the University of Shanghai TCM. She then started working in Xiamen TCM hospital which is the second largest general hospital in a city with a population of one million. This allowed her to acquire great experience increasing the effectiveness of her treatments. Emily came to Canada in 2012 and in 2014 she completed the requirements for the CTCMA and is now a BC registered Acupuncturist and Herbalist. With 20 years of clinical experience, Emily enjoys helping with and has had clinical success in a variety of conditions including pain management (arthritis, headaches, musculoskeletal disorders), stress related conditions (insomnia, fatigue, anxiety), gynecological health (menstrual problems, PMS, fertility, fibroids), digestive problems (IBS, indigestion ), neurological conditions (migraines, Bell’s Palsy, stroke rehab, Parkinson), cardiovascular diseases (CAD, HBP, cardiomyopathy), and immune system dysfunctions. Initial Assessment

If you are new to our clinic or it has been more than 3 months since your last visit, this is a session of dedicated one-on-one time with your Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. During this time, a thorough assessment will take place and you will begin your customized treatment plan. If you are booking for a minor (18 years or under), a parent or guardian must be present during their initial assessment.
