Dr. Grace Yu, DC, RMT is a Registered Massage Therapist and doctor of Chiropractic focusing in NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association). Dr. Grace was born and raised in Seoul, Korea until she immigrated to Canada in 1989. She settled in Coquitlam and started her journey to become a RMT and NUCCA chiropractor. Originally earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1999 from Simon Fraser University, Dr. Grace continued her studies of massage therapy in West Coast College of Massage Therapy. After graduating in 2002, she practiced in various massage therapy clinics and spas to take care of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and other health issues. Dr. Grace decided to pursue her chiropractic career at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa after experiencing the amazing health benefits through upper cervical chiropractic care. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2010 and practicing NUCCA in Calgary and Washington, Dr. Grace returned home to her family when an opportunity arose to join the team of InBalance Wellness Care. Dr. Grace is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Coquitlam and bring her unique approach to patient care to enhance the health and body balance of her patients, family, and friends. “I strongly believe in the body’s own healing powers. Through my training in massage therapy and NUCCA, I am passionate about working with my patients on restoring their natural balance and wellness.”
