I discovered the beneficial effects of massage in my early twenties while immersed in the meditative and spiritual practices of India. On my return to North America I continued my practice as a massage therapist in California specializing in Reflexology. In 2013 I graduated as a RMT from Kikkawa College and stayed in Toronto to teach and to master my healing techniques. I bring to Soul2Sole my expertise in Swedish/ Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue, Neurological Relief, Pre and Post Natal Massage, Lymphatic Drainage as well as Ear, Hand and Foot Reflexology. I will be happy to assist you on your journey to optimum health and wellness. Raje also specializes in massage for musicians. Her treatments are enthusiastically endorsed by Cosette Justo Valdes, resident conductor of the Edmonton Symphony orchestra from 2019 to 2025 ***RMT Raje can be found at our Central location***

Massage

Deep tissue massage is to apply firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue surrounding muscles. It’s beneficial to chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. It’s effective in treating repetitive stress injuries such as tennis elbow or carpal tunnel syndrome and can be helpful in reducing the symptoms of osteoarthritis.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage involves light, smooth, rhythmic touch to the skin plus pumping at the lymph nodes. These techniques encourage the Lymphatic system to better do its job: gathering old cells (including pathogens, toxins and plasma proteins), guiding them out of the body and making way for newly oxygenated cells to nourish organs, muscles and extremities. Lymphatic Drainage may be helpful for many reasons: pre and post surgery, post workout soreness, recovery post sickness, spring cleaning, relaxation and especially to treat fluid retention.
