Shoanie Young

In her previous life, Shoanie was a concert violinist. Fast-paced life led her to seek a sustainable and balanced approach to health. Shoanie holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music (Bachelor of Music), and University of Southern California (Master of Music). On the path to becoming a nurse practitioner at Johns Hopkins University, she decided instead to pursue Chinese Medicine. With the support and encouragement of her family, Shoanie graduated from Chinese Culture and Health Sciences with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is a California licensed acupuncturist and herbalist (L.Ac.). Shoanie specializes in pain management, autoimmune disorders, stress and anxiety, and headaches. She also enjoys treating kids. Shoanie is currently pursuing the Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program taught by Whitfield Reaves. Shoanie loves acupuncture. There is wonder and delight in seeing positive effects on people, and she is committed to helping individuals improving their well-being and quality of life.
