Centreboard Physical Therapy and Massage

585 Walnut Hill Rd, #B, North Yarmouth, ME, 04097-6301

Bridgett is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong clinical interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation, gait mechanics, balance training, posture and core strengthening. Her motivation centers around helping patients return to meaningful, functional movements in their daily lives. She earned her degree from Kennebec Valley, where she continues to serve on the PTA Academic Advisory Board. She is thrilled to be part of the Centreboard team, having had the opportunity to complete clinical education experiences with Michelle and Rita. During that time, she developed a deep appreciation for Centreboard’s patient-centered treatment philosophy, collaborative environment, and commitment to whole-patient care. With a lifelong fascination for anatomy and the body in motion, Bridgett brings intention and enthusiasm into her patient care. She is a Yoga Alliance certified RYT 500 instructor and has spent years both teaching and practicing yoga as an ongoing part of her personal and professional life. Her background - including yin, vinyasa, mindful meditation, and continued advanced study in prenatal and accessibility yoga - supports a thoughtful, holistic approach to rehabilitation. Bridgett is passionate about continuing her education through both formal training and lived experience, continually deepening her understanding of movement, breath, nervous system regulation, and the mind-body connection. A Maine native, Bridgett grew up on the Midcoast and has now lived in North Yarmouth for over 20 years. She enjoys life as a mother and small business owner, and values staying connected to her local community. Outside of the clinic, Bridgett can often be found hiking or trail walking with her Australian Shepherd, paddleboarding, teaching and practicing yoga, reading, listening to podcasts, and tinkering on engines. She also has a well-known love for plants and is ceaselessly growing her collection. She has a deep appreciation for lifelong learning and continues to expand her studies of the human body alongside Vedic philosophy and Jyotish (Vedic astrology), enhancing her perspective on balance, rhythm, and overall well-being of the body and mind.
