Michael was born and raised in Huntington, NY in a town rich in American history including the American Revolution and such men as Walt Whitman and Herman Melville. He spent most of his childhood and young adulthood wandering around in the local forests of West Hills Park embracing the nature around as he still does today wherever he goes. Michael attended and graduated from New York College of Health Professions with his associates degree in Occupational Studies and Massage Therapy where he learned an incredible amount of information on the human body. Given a complete understanding of the human anatomy and physiology (more than what is taught to registered nurses) multiple massage modalities and traditional Chinese medicine. Throughout his career, Michael has found that he excels in myofascial work and understanding of the myofascial bodily system. This brings real, lasting results through massage. With MFR treatments he is capable of finding the dehydrated/ dysfunctional chains and patches of tissue in people’s bodies and working into them to rehydrate and makes the tissues more malleable for the postural change to come. He sends everyone home with some form of postural advice/exercise, and at the next visit they can make real progress with every session rather than the traditional pattern of massage therapy where he give the same massage to the same person with the same aches and pains in the same places every time.
