He has a special interest in orthopaedic and sports-related injuries and combines evidence-based, hands-on treatment with individualized exercise programs to help patients move better, feel stronger, and achieve lasting results. George is committed to ongoing professional development and is currently pursuing his FCAMPT designation, Canada’s highest level of manual therapy certification for physiotherapists. ###Qualifications & Experience - Graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. - Earned a Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2021. - Advanced orthopaedic training and currently working toward FCAMPT certification (Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists). - Completed NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) Level 1 training. - Certified in Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling. - Special interest in the assessment and treatment of: - Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions - Sports injuries - Return-to-sport rehabilitation - Utilizes a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, movement assessment, and individualized exercise prescription to help patients achieve lasting results. - Served as a member of the Medical Staff for the 2022 Canada Games in Niagara ###Treatment Philosophy George believes successful rehabilitation goes beyond relieving pain.
