A native Austinite, I came to massage therapy through my first chiropractor, and it helped so much I changed careers! (Thank you Dr. Hunnycutt) I attended Lauterstein Conway massage school, and have continued educating myself in Reiki, Theta Healing, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, and other deeper tissue techniques as well. In more recent years, I discovered through my own life experience, just how much our emotions affect our bodies, so I also incorporate that information into sessions as well when needed. Most of my massage career has been on-site chair and table work at sport events, concerts, offices, and even our lovely Central Market… until Covid. So, like the song says, “a change will do you good”. Joining Backbone felt right from the start, and I love using my talents here. I work with and on amazing people all the way around!
