Dr. Benjamin Jespersen was born and raised in Calgary. After completing his undergraduate degree, at the University of Calgary, he graduated, with honours, from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He completed his Masters of Counselling Psychology degree and also works as a Canadian Certified Counsellor in order to bridge the gap between the mind and body that is often overlooked in chronic pain management. Beyond his work in chronic pain management, he offers counselling for a wide variety of individuals. He is passionate about working along-side other health care practitioners to provide collaborative, evidence-based care for his patients. He has experience in treating a wide variety of neuromuskuloskeletal disorders using a combination of therapies, which he has been extensively trained in (Chiropractic, Active Release Techniques, Graston technique, dry-needling, Shockwave therapy, Kinesio-taping and electro-stimulation. In addition to manual therapies, Dr. Jespersen has a special interest and advanced training in chronic pain management (Central Sensitization Syndrome). Dr. Jespersen is married with four sons, and in his spare time, he enjoys skiing, camping, hiking and anything outdoors with family and friends.
