Christina graduated with a Kinesiology degree from McMaster University, and subsequently completed the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2015 before becoming a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee in 2016. In 2022 she obtained the Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner designation through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management and is also a Fear Free Certified Professional, committed to advocating for both the physical and emotional wellbeing of her patients. Christina has over 7 years of experience in shelter medicine, working as a Registered Veterinary Technician at a busy Toronto animal shelter and developing the shelter’s physical rehabilitation program. She also has a keen interest in assistive devices, and has spent time working as an animal orthoses and prostheses assistant at PawsAbility.
