Grant grew up in Fredericton, New Brunswick before moving to Ontario to pursue a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology at Queen’s University. While at Queen’s , Grant focused his studies on disability and aging, while also competing on the Men’s Varsity Volleyball Team. After graduation, Grant began working with the Concussion Legacy Foundation, operating their helpline for patients and families living with persistent concussion symptoms and signs of various neurodegenerative conditions. This work was foundational in helping Grant recognize the important intersection of physical and mental health. After completing his Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University, Grant worked at a mental health rehabilitation hospital and an orthopedic private clinic in Kingston, ON. Grant can help to manage a broad range of conditions including athletic injuries, persistent pain, overuse injuries, and much more. As a new Islander, Grant looks forward to exploring the Island by bike, learning to fly fish, and take on overly ambitious sewing projects in his spare time.
