My name is Shilo Wymbs and I am so excited to be joining the Thrive clinic as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Acupuncture Intern! For the last five years, I have owned my own massage business in Tampa, FL while studying to become a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine through Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine. With an estimated graduation date of May 2028, I am excited to expand my abilities to include Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. Currently, I bring a wide span of experience to the massage table and am confident in my ability to listen and respond to all individuals’ unique needs and use my skills to assist you in any way you may need! I am trained in many massage modalities including: Lymphatic Drainage, Acupressure, Fire Cupping, Reflexology, Ear Candling, MTR – Musculo Tendon Reeducation (Structural Massage), PNF Assisted Stretching, Esalen, Qi Gong Massage, Tui Na, Medical Massage, Pre/Postnatal Massage, Deep Tissue/Trigger Point, Emotional Release, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Stones, and Sports Massage. I am also working on a Holistic Health Counseling degree, and hold a BS in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from University of South Dakota.
During this 1 hour massage session together, we will complete an overall assessment of your preferences, treatment outcome needs, mobility, and overall presentation. This will help tailor the session to your unique needs and give us an idea of which modalities would be best to integrate for your situation. Modalities that can be utilized: Lymphatic Drainage, TCM acupressure, Fire or Silcone Cupping, Reflexology, MTR (structural), PNF asisted stretching, Esalen, Qi Gong Massage, Tui Na, Medical Massage, Pre/Postnatal, Deep Tissue, Tigger Point, Emotional Release, Swedish Relaxation, Sports Massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stones.
