I grew up constantly on the move. From a young age, I was fascinated by the human body and how it functions. This led me to a career of coaching diving and triathlon. I spent countless hours analyzing and correcting people’s form in the water and on land. This strengthened my hands-on approach and allows me to critically, as well as holistically, evaluate a patient’s condition to determine the best combination of treatment. When the pandemic hit I realized that I wanted to progress my abilities, so I decided to jump profession and become a massage therapist. I found a large part of my learning was the extra work I took on helping my friends and family outside of school. After a few years of intense schooling, I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage in 2022. During treatment, I pride myself on being adaptable to what the client needs. My background in athletics has given me a profound understanding of injuries and the timeline of healing. Furthermore, I supplement every treatment with information that assists in the recovery process. I’m a big fan of using deeper techniques; this includes deep tissue massage, active release style treatments, joint mobilization, and trigger point therapy. If a softer approach is required, I’m able to utilize Swedish massage, stretching, and lymphatic drainage modalities to help ease the pain with high sensitivity or swelling. Outside of my practice, I like to live an active lifestyle. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, swimming, and running. I’m passionate about food! I cook a lot of my own backpacking meals and love experimenting with a dehydrator. You can catch me most mornings walking Rathtrevor beach and enjoying a fresh cup of coffee!
