Edgar graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with an Honors degree in Physiotherapy in 2008. Then he worked in hospitals, community physiotherapy clinics, and with professional sports clubs in three Southern African countries. As his desire to serve his community better intensified, Edgar completed a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Physiotherapy in 2020 at Africa’s top-ranked University of Cape Town. His research focused on what drives people to keep moving and the health-related behavior changes that result from participating in a weekly running/walking program called Parkrun. He has attended courses in sports rehabilitation, taping, concussion in sports, vestibular rehabilitation, and orthopedic and manipulative therapy. Edgar has completed the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Parts A and B and enjoys applying this knowledge to clients with low back and neck conditions. During his education in South Africa, Edgar developed a keen interest in musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and return-to-work rehabilitation.
