Kirsten’s passion for physiotherapy comes from a deep love of sport. A former high-level rugby player, she was drawn to the profession to help people stay healthy and active. Kirsten graduated from McMaster University with her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2010. Since then, she’s worked in both private practice and pediatrics. She has completed courses in manual therapy, craniosacral therapy, and myofascial release. Kirsten provides a collaborative treatment approach combining hands-on therapy with exercise prescription and education. Her goal is to support clients in addressing their movement dysfunction and resuming their activities stronger and more balanced. Her primary areas of interest are pediatric injuries, torticollis, plagiocephaly and spinal alignment, post-operative rehabilitation, and hip, knee and ankle dysfunctions. Kirsten is looking forward to bringing her passion for working with pediatric injuries and conditions back to private practice. When Kirsten is not in the office you will find her out hiking, mountain biking, running and enjoying time with her husband and two kids.
