Megan completed her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, where she developed a deep understanding of human movement, physiology and nutrition. After graduation, she began working as a Physiotherapy Assistant, where she discovered her love for rehabilitation and patient care. She pursued a Master’s in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Scotland. Her education focused on evidence-based practice and promoting self-management and patient education. Following her studies, she had the privilege of working within the United Kingdom’s Public Health Service, where she was part of both the musculoskeletal and community physiotherapy teams. Her time in the UK was incredibly valuable, and she gained substantial experience in treating a wide range of conditions, honing her skills in patient-centred care. Megan is thrilled to be back home in Haldimand County. Her goal is to help individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and live healthier, more active lives. Outside of work, Megan enjoys hiking, yoga, and embracing any opportunity to travel and explore new places.
