Sasha is a graduate from the Massage Therapy program at Medix College. Prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, she worked as a Certified Athletic Therapist for several years where she gained an in-depth knowledge of the body and injury rehabilitation. She has also completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University. Throughout her athletic therapy career Sasha has worked extensively with high performance athletes in a variety of sports, including basketball, field hockey and ice hockey at the university level, masters level track and field, as well as Rugby Ontario and Junior A hockey in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. She has worked with these athletes both sideline as a first responder, and in a clinic rehab setting. Sasha has a wealth of knowledge in treating musculoskeletal injuries, following post-surgical rehab plans, and creating personalized, sport-specific rehabilitation programs. She is certified in cupping therapy through Cupping Canada and teaches an Athletic Taping course to other health professionals.
