Leeanne graduated from the Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2010 and also has an Social Service Worker diploma with an Indigenous focus. Prior to becoming an RMT Leeanne used her SSW training in women’s reproductive health for 17 years. Planned Parenthood Toronto and Fife House are two of the organizations that she has enjoyed volunteering with. Whether on the road for events such as Race Across America or in clinical settings Leeanne enjoys the versatility of massage. Her treatment style could be described as Swedish with deep tissue and trigger point therapy. However, believing in a client centered approach Leeanne does modify and customize as required. Being part of a multidisciplinary team when working to meet a patient’s health care needs is a great fit for Leeanne. As a member of the Sutherland-Chan Danforth team, she has loved getting to know the neighbourhood and especially enjoys the restaurants, bakeries and small businesses in the area.
As per CMTO standards of practice, your session time may include assessment and discussion of your condition, including health questions, "on-table" treatment time, and self-care and post-treatment follow-up. Your booked treatment time consists of all of these elements.
