Dr. Matt Gurney is a board-certified chiropractor dedicated to helping patients achieve pain-free, active lives through personalized care. Originally from Massachusetts, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Becker College, where he also met his wife, Lynda. He then pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University and discovered a passion for the Diversified and Activator Methods, which allow him to deliver precise and highly effective adjustments while maximizing patient comfort. Dr. Gurney believes in a patient-centered approach of treatments tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. With the goal of empowering them to return to their daily activities with greater mobility and comfort. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gurney enjoys board games, exploring new restaurants, and embarking on outdoor adventures with his wife, Lynda, and their two spunky long-haired Dachshunds, Sam and Marcie.
The initial assessment is an appointment that allows the doctor to gather more information about your history, as well as perform tests including range of motion tests, strength tests, and orthopedic tests. The doctor will use this information in order to better understand what is going on and to create a more personalized plan of action to get you to your health goals.
