Hi, my name is Amelia Schwarz, and I am excited to begin my career as a RMT! Prior to this career path, I received an undergraduate degree in leadership studies and psychology from the University of New Brunswick. Since studying massage therapy, I have acquired an excellent skill set of knowledge and tools in areas such as: deep tissue techniques, fascial work, trigger point release, joint mobilizations, paraffin treatments, and active and passive table stretches. In addition to assessing and treating orthopedic conditions and soft tissue injuries, I strive to incorporate emotional and mental wellness into the treatment when patients are open to it. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family, being near the ocean and curling up with a cup of tea and a good historical fiction novel. I love being in nature and especially enjoy combing the beach with my husband and kids. I am happy to accept new patients and am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate and accepting space for all. Come as you are.
