Dr. Flatt’s interest in sports and related injuries led him to pursue his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose California. While in school, Dr. Flatt was an active member in the Student American Chiropractic Association Sports Council (SACA) where he was able to gain valuable experience as an attending chiropractor at a variety of sporting events. In practice Dr. Flatt employs a hands-on approach to the treatment and prevention of injuries, through manual adjusting, and in combination with A.R.T., soft tissue treatments and Low Intensity Laser therapy. Dr. Flatt believes in the individualization and education of each patient to provide the best chiropractic and health care possible. Dr. Flatt is a seven time Ironman Canada Finisher, most recently completing his Seventh Ironman Triathlon in Arizona. As part of the ART treatment team for the Ironman World Championships in Kona Hawaii in 2003 and 2004 Dr. Flatt was introduced to triathlon and had the opportunity to treat some of the sport’s most elite athletes. His ultimate goal is to now qualify and return to Kona as a competitor. Dr. Flatt has used his experience in training and competing in triathlon, as well as, his expertise in his chiropractic training and practice and applied this knowledge to evaluate, assess and treat injuries in not only sport and life.
