Tina is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. Tina specializes in the assessment and treatment of vestibular conditions and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction (TMD) , with additional clinical interests in head, neck, shoulder, concussion, and sport-related injuries. She also works in the Emergency Department at Burnaby Hospital, where she helps patients restore mobility and function in acute care settings. With both private and public healthcare settings, Tina has experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative recovery (open heart surgery, hip and knee replacement, amputation), fall prevention with older adults, and neurological populations (post-stroke and Parkison’s Disease). Tina takes a collaborative, hands-on, and whole-body approach, working closely with you to understand your goals, daily demands, and how different areas of the body influence one another. She combines manual therapy, cupping, shockwave therapy, individualized exercise programs, and practical education to address the root cause of symptoms, build strength and resilience, and help you feel confident managing your recovery long-term. As a former competitive swimmer with over 10 years of coaching experience, Tina understands the physical demands of sport and active living. She is passionate about helping people move confidently by reducing pain, recovering from injury, improving function, and returning to the activities they enjoy. She provides care in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Min-nan Taiwanese. Outside the clinic, Tina enjoys strength training, skiing, hiking, camping, and watercolor painting.
