DR. NICOLE ALCORDO DTCM, LAC (Nikki) Health and healing is as unique a journey as the person going through it, and finding the right practitioner for your journey is important. Meet Dr. Nikki Dr. Nikki grew up in the hustle-bustle culture of the east coast where the noise and culture can often glamorize a chaotic and tiring life. After struggling with years of chronic illness and pain- she realized much of her disease stemmed from a stressful lifestyle. She decided to commit to the values to TCM- living and eating with the seasons, slowing down, listening to one’s body, meditating, and being in nature. She found that true healing is a mix of listening and caring for your mind, body, and spirit. With a background as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and someone who struggles with injuries and chronic pain herself, Dr. Nikki feels strongly about optimizing and cultivating mobility and functional movement patterns. Specialties: chronic, complex pain and disorders, sports related injuries, women’s health, musculoskeletal disorders, stress reduction.

Initial Evaluation and Treatment (New Patient)

Let’s get to know one another. During your initial evaluation, your practitioner will ask you questions about your current and past medical history. Following the evaluation, you should expect to receive your first TCM treatment; likely a blend of acupuncture and other integrative modalities.
