Since shifting away from a career-long clinic setting in early 2022, Steph Moski Bodywork is the latest iteration of my Massage Therapy practice. This private, home-based studio space uniquely reflects my personal and professional style and serves as a cozy time-out from whatever life has been throwing at you. My shift to working from home at an intentionally slower pace has re-ignited the joy in offering hands-on therapy, and inspires creative and nourishing treatment experiences for each of my clients. “Our issues live in our tissues…“ Treating a wide variety of client concerns over the years, I hold particular skill and interest in designing treatments with the intention to: - reduce the physical effects of emotional life stressors held in the body - support stress reduction and mental well-being alongside physical mobility - encourage deep, intentional rest as a necessity for optimal overall health and healing - leave folks feeling like their session has helped facilitate a desired change or outcome (reduced pain, lower stress, increased mobility, improved mood, better sleep…) - provide a more holistic and complete “full-body massage” experience, incorporating therapeutic breast/chest massage, abdominal/diaphragm work, and instrument assisted/cupping therapy techniques into sessions whenever possible/appropriate Treatments of any length are beneficial, though I feel most in flow and at my best as an RMT, in longer sessions, treating the body as a whole. Receiving care for areas that are more often overlooked (abdomen, breasts/chest) is a truly nourishing experience, but can take a lot of trust to feel comfortable receiving - don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have to help address determine if these treatments are a good fit for your needs and goals. Consider this your open invitation to treat yourself; come Rest, Mend and Tend to your body, mind and spirit in an intentional and satisfying way! Steph Moski is a graduate of Wellington College and has been a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM), since 2007.
