At the completion of her massage training, Kim was honored as recipient of the Award of Merit for her thesis on the Psychological Affect of Arthritis. Kim holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Regina Majoring in Special Education which has been a great asset to her work in the field of massage. Kim’s keen interest in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) has led her to take courses from the Upledger Institute and Visionary Craniosacral Therapy from the Milne Institute. She has also taken Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy with Benjamin Shields. Additionally, she has trained in Neuromuscular Technique, Visceral Manipulation, Chi Nei Tsang, and Myofascial Release enabling her to develop effective tools in assessing and treating a wide variety of conditions and dysfunctions with her extensive advanced studies. Kim has been practicing since 1991.

Massage Therapy addresses a variety of health conditions, the most prevalent being stress-related tension, which, experts believe accounts for 80 - 90 % of disease. Massage has been proven beneficial in treating and aiding headaches, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, back pain, immunity suppression, postoperative surgery, age-related disorders, depression, repetitive strain injuries and sports related injuries to name just a few.
