Aquilino Soriano’s journey into acupuncture began with his certification in massage therapy. From there, he went on to study acupuncture at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), and in 1995 earned his Master’s Degree and board certifications in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He specializes in sports medicine and orthopedics, as well as postural alignment (certified in both Symmetry and Egoscue). He integrates both traditional Chinese medicine and Western orthopedics and sports medicine methods to holistically treat each individual patient. Aquilino also specializes in NAET, an allergy elimination technique which proves successful with both children and adults of all ages. In 2000, he founded AcuSport Health Center, and has enjoyed serving the community of Ocean Beach. As a longtime musician, he incorporates vibrational healing in his sessions through the use of tuning forks, which can have positive effects on the physical and emotional state of the body and mind.
