PREPARING FOR YOUR FIRST TCM APPOINTMENT: Please complete forms online or download and fill out the pertinent forms and bring them, completed, to the appointment. Upon your first treatment, Make sure you are settled in, use the washroom, have a glass of water, etc. before the start time of your appointment. Please avoid caffeine and alcohol before your appointment and no alcohol should be consumed the evening of a treatment. Make sure you are well hydrated and have eaten beforehand. An empty stomach could result in fainting and/or nausea. Post treatment you may feel relaxed and it may be hard to concentrate on certain tasks. On your first appointment please refrain from planning too much afterwards in order to understand the after effects the treatment may have on you. Enjoy this time, this is your body feeling at ease, in balance, and flowing freely. Negative people and situations will begin to stagnate this openness, so honor yourself and take it easy. You may feel a needle sensation where the needles were inserted for some time after the treatment.
