Hayley immigrated to Canada with her two Aussie pooches & is now a Canadian Citizen. She has a passion for connecting with people and helping them to move. Hayley Brown graduated with distinction from Bond with the Clinical Excellence award. Hayley passed the Certification for Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) Examination in 2022 awarding her the title of Certified Hand Therapist. Hayley is a diligent, caring, and personable physiotherapist. She finds communication and understanding to be an essential part of treatment. She will explain why you may be experiencing certain symptoms and how treatment will progress to assist in resolution. Hayley provides assessment and treatment for a variety of conditions including BPPV type of vertigo, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, acute and chronic sports injuries, and physiotherapy to support healthy ageing. Hayley has specialist skills in treating conditions involving the upper limb; including complex injuries to the wrist and hand. Her treatment techniques include soft-tissue release, cupping, dry needling, and manual therapy. She offers prescription of individualized, progressive exercise plans for long-term management. Movement is medicine, and Hayley loves to help her clients move! As part of her CHT credential, she is qualified to make a number of different thermoplastic orthoses to manage injuries to the wrist, hand and fingers. She is also a Returned Servicewoman and Navy Veteran of the Second Gulf War (Iraq War). She has served 222 years in both permanent Australian naval and naval reserve positions. You might find Hayley camping with a Caesar in the Summer or on the ski hill in the winter (also with a Caesar!). She has a special interest in Canine Rehabilitation and is currently completing the Diploma of Canine Rehabilitation with the Animal Rehab Association of Canada (ARAC).
