Dr. Thornton is a licensed chiropractic physician with over 20 years of experience and has been with Body Therapeutics since its opening in 2009. He is a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas, where he focused on sports injuries and played hockey, softball, volleyball and lacrosse. Dr. Thornton has continued his education in areas of strength & conditioning, Sports injuries, nutrition, chiropractic and golf, extremity adjusting and maternity and pediatric care. Dr. Thornton earned his bachelors in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Sports Medicine / Athletic Training from Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. Dr. Thornton is also certified to prescribe custom orthotics from Sole Supports and often uses a multitude of techniques and tools including Diversified, Thompson and Activator, to help his clients feel better and maintain their health and well being for the long haul. Dr. Thornton is a full-time chiropractor at Body Therapeutics and accepts most major insurance carriers. Dr. Thornton continues to be active coaching and playing lacrosse in the local community. Other hobbies include exercise, skiing and spending time with his wife and son.
