As a massage therapist, Aniyah approaches each session as an opportunity to create a safe, supportive space where clients can reconnect with their bodies. She views her role as both a skilled practitioner and a compassionate witness, holding space for the physical, emotional, and energetic shifts that naturally arise through bodywork. Aniyah specializes in trauma-informed massage, integrating movement, neuromuscular therapy, and myofascial release techniques to help clients unwind long-held tension patterns, improve mobility, and restore balance within the body. Her approach to deep tissue work is intentional and gentle, allowing the nervous system to remain regulated while creating meaningful change in the tissues. She also incorporates Swedish massage, somatic rocking, and nervous system–focused techniques to encourage deep relaxation and healing. Before becoming a massage therapist, Aniyah spent three years working in the mental and behavioral health field, where she received extensive training in trauma-informed care, peer support, crisis intervention, and somatic embodiment practices. This background deeply informs her work, allowing her to support clients with sensitivity, presence, and an understanding of the connection between emotional experiences and the body. Aniyah graduated from the 800-hour massage therapy program at East West College of the Healing Arts in 2025. She completed her Reiki Master Initiation in 2023 and has cultivated an energy practice rooted in her cultural lineage, which she thoughtfully weaves into her bodywork when appropriate. Her current studies focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine and abdominal and pelvic health. She is trained in External Pelvic Floor Manual Therapy and is continuing her education in Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist Abdominal Massage). This work is deeply personal to Aniyah. After navigating years of pelvic and abdominal pain related to cumulative childhood and adult trauma, she experienced firsthand the challenges of finding knowledgeable, trans-affirming pelvic floor care. Those experiences inspired her to become an External Pelvic Floor Practitioner, with the goal of expanding access to compassionate, trauma-informed pelvic health services. Aniyah is especially passionate about supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals in feeling safe, respected, and cared for within therapeutic bodywork. She is honored to offer pelvic health services at Lavender Moon Wellness and is committed to providing care that is affirming, collaborative, and centered on each person’s unique experience. Whether clients are seeking pain relief, stress reduction, nervous system regulation, or a deeper connection with themselves, Aniyah’s intention is to offer care that honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
