Hi! I’m Dr. Samantha Burris, DAc, L.Ac. I’m the acupuncturist and founder at Essence Healing. I am a licensed acupuncturist of New York State. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Keuka College in 2013, and Bachelors of Science in Professional Studies and Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM) at the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in 2017. I graduated from WON Institute of Graduate Studies Certificate of Chinese Medicine Program in August 2023, and recently graduated from their Doctorate of Acupuncture program August 2024. My experience includes working with patients of all ages and a variety of conditions. I bring clinical training experience from multiple locations equating up to 2,250 clinical hours in school and 6 years in private practice. My specialties include, but are not limited to, pain management, women’s health, and pregnancy.
All acupuncture patients must have an initial acupuncture treatment session and those who have not received a treatment with Dr. Samantha Burris in over 2 years. *Note: Times may be subject to change if needed to accommodate all patients.
