CHIROPRACTOR ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUES (ART) & MEDICAL ACUPUNCTURE PROVIDER Dr. Alison Lejkowski graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2010 following completion of her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at McMaster University. Since graduation, she has become certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster, and Active Release Technique (ART). She continues to strive to expand her clinical skills through ongoing participation in various continuing education courses. For the past three years, Dr. Alison has been active in the local soccer and volleyball communities. She enjoys helping young athletes with injury management, and performance optimization through early identification and treatment of dysfunction to help to prevent future injuries. In addition to helping others to stay active, Alison believes in leading by example, and enjoys an active lifestyle including snowboarding, running, yoga and ultimate Frisbee. In order to achieve the best results from any treatment plan, Dr. Alison understands the importance of empowering patients by educating them in all aspects of their health and wellness. She believes that giving patients the tools they need to maintain an active lifestyle, and encouraging them to take an active role in their health and wellbeing will have a positive effect on all aspects of their life. By making health and lifestyle advice more convenient and accessible, Alison hopes to help as many people as possible to stay active and stay healthy.
