Karen graduated from UBC’s physiotherapy program in 2006. She moved to Squamish in 2007 and has been working in the community in public and private practice ever since. Karen is also a certified running coach through the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy. She is a strong believer in continual professional growth through education. She has completed her Level 3 manual therapy courses through the Canadian Orthopedic Division. She has taken post graduate courses/training in Gunn IMS, running rehabilitation/gait assessment, vestibular rehabilitation, soft tissue work, the Mulligan Concept, acupuncture, Kinetic Link Training, arthritis, joint replacement rehabilitation, and shoulder rehabilitation. Karen enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, especially running injuires and post orthopaedic surgeries, such as knee and shoulder surgeries. Her treatments provide a one on one personal approach with an individualized treatment program. Karen believes in enabling her clients to gain ownership of their rehabilitation in order to reach their physiotherapy goals.
