Trained in Hot Stone Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Palliative/Hospice-Care and Infant Massage. My healthcare background includes Physical Therapy Technician in adult and childrens outpatient rehab facilities, Dental Assistant, Hospital Nurse Technician, as well as a Hospice and Palliative Care Massage Therapist for the past 13 years. I have also worked in the spa setting for 13 years. I specialize in focused therapeutic massage to target areas of tension and aid in relaxation. I have a strong knowledge of different disease processes. I have been a guest speaker at local Fibromyalgia Support Groups in the past as well as guest presenter for massage school programs. I pride myself in my ability to use proper depth of pressure. I use several different massage modalities to help you acheive muscle relaxation and stress reduction. Our 60 minute Signature Massage provides the many substantiated health benefits of massage, and it especially aims at releasing stress and tension in the body and mind. Depending on your preference, the rhythm of your massage can be slow and gentle, vigorous and firm, or deep pressure. We also include a warm compress for the feet.
