Ciara is interested in vestibular rehab and general orthopedics and is passionate about treating athletes and sports injuries. She has completed the Bernard Tonks Dizziness and Vestibular Rehabilitation Introductory and Advanced course, Concussion Management Level 1 and has her full body certification in functional dry needling. Originally from Weyburn, known as the heart of southeast Saskatchewan, she relocated to Central Alberta in 2016 to complete her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Alberta. She also attended NE Oklahoma A&M College and Missouri Valley College where she received her Bachelor’s in Science in Exercise Science while she also competed with the varsity women’s volleyball & softball teams. Growing up, Ciara spent most of her time playing sports and continues to play recreationally. She was drawn to physiotherapy from a young age due to needing constant rehabilitation throughout her life and believes that it is the key reason she can continue competing today. Life in Red Deer keeps her close to the mountains to explore and be an adventurer. Ciara joined the Collegiate team in February 2019.
