Reid is a graduate of the Masters of Physical Therapy program at Queen’s University. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. In the last five years as a practicing physiotherapist he has worked with individuals across the lifespan with a wide variety of patients. Reid prioritizes creating a strong therapeutic relationship with his patients. Communication, empathy, and trust are the cornerstones of his approach to help you achieve your goals. He values a healthy mix of manual therapy and exercise in providing treatment. He has taken continued education courses in Level 1 & 2 IMS/Dry Needling, extensive concussion training, running analysis, soft tissue release, and functional movement pattern assessment. He has a passion for learning as he is currently working on obtaining his PhD in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary with a focus on ACL injury prevention in varsity university athletes. Reid is an active individual with a passion for hiking, snowboarding, and trail running. He has a special interest for working with youth athletes and helping them return to game play as quickly and safely as possible. Reid is dedicated to developing a plan for each patient to overcome the current health and fitness challenges they are facing and to also prevent injury in the future.
