She graduated in 2019 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where she completed an intensive 20-month hands-on training program focused on practical, evidence-based techniques. Mieguen uses a variety of techniques in her practice to help with different patient needs, including: Trigger Point Release Myofascial Techniques Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) Mieguen has had some amazing experiences that have shaped her approach to healing: Interned at BC Women’s Hospital, gaining experience in women’s health. Helped athletes at the SeaWheeze Marathon with recovery and performance. Worked in multidisciplinary clinics across England, Richmond, and Burnaby, treating a wide range of conditions. Mieguen also loves mentoring and educating the next generation of RMTs: Current Clinic Supervisor for massage therapy students in the UBC outreach program through WCCMT. Former Clinic Instructor at WCCMT, with a special focus on prenatal and postnatal care. Her approach is all about putting the patient first, tailoring treatments to each person’s needs—whether that’s managing sports injuries, prenatal/postnatal care, or chronic pain. Mieguen is truly dedicated to helping people find lasting relief and feel their best. When she’s not in the clinic, Mieguen enjoys being outdoors, taking long walks on the beach, and spending time with family and friends. This appointment is for returning patients continuing their treatment plan. Your RMT will assess your progress, adjust your treatment as needed, and provide hands-on therapy to support recovery and mobility. You’ll also receive personalized aftercare recommendations to maintain results between sessions.
